#Ironman Death Fee Removal

It might change what being an Iron is.
For example: I choose to be a main account because I believe it's easier, and I want to take advantage of all aspects of the game (such as the GE).
If I find that death itself is easier if I were an Iron, with the compensation that the gp sink of death is located elsewhere in the form of SE mine/making planks/buying runes, that could (and probably would) influence whether I'd rather have been an Iron instead or not.
It's also worth noting that, while SE mine/making planks/buying runes are more likely to be interacted with by Irons, main accounts can still interact with these if they choose to do so.
Dupes in deaths coffer, not dropped to the alt is and always will be the solution
I put dupes into my death coffer on the iron, instead of dropping them to the main and introducing them to the economy, thats a very good reason to keep iron death cost
You already only pay 50% on death fees as an iron, you shouldn't get further reduced to 0%
Figured there'd be flame, just an idea. My coffer is full so not worried for me. Just seems strange to have a goldsink for accounts that have much more niche uses for gp than mains who can buy what they want/need.
Fair point
Also fair point, creates an item AND gp sink instead of just gp
Mains have the same amount of things they need to spend money on, just because its usually other people making planks/runes/etc. doesnt mean that gold isnt sunk there too
Death costs are not purely a gold sink. They also serve the purpose of having people actually lose something when they die. You should be incentiviced to tp out or leave before you die to save yourself that loss. Just like any account.
All good points, close thread plz
