#Accidentally grabbing p2p items while f2p? this setting could fix that

Hey everyone,
I had a small QoL idea that I think could be super helpful, especially for people who bounce between f2p and p2p.

Basically, it’s an option to lock member items in your bank so you don’t accidentally withdraw them when you're on a f2p account. I’ve had a few moments where I pull out a member item by mistake and it just stays in my inventory till next membership subscription and wastes an inventory slot.
I’ve mocked up two ways this could work in the above images:

• Option 1: bank slot placeholder locking
(similar to inventory locking).

• Option 2: A toggle in the bank settings to lock all member items when on a f2p account, or just in general.

The goal here isn't to restrict access harshly, just to give players a way to protect their own flow. Especially useful for people who cant afford membership for too long, returning players, or just anyone trying to stay tidy.

Would love to hear your thoughts — would this be useful? Any potential downsides I’m not thinking of?

Very much yes! One time I accidentally withdrew my whole cash stack and couldn’t deposit it back because you lose bank slots when losing membership. Another way to deal with this would be to just add “members’ items only” spaces like in RS3 where the extra spaces you get in members won’t count against you in f2p.

Should be like RS3 where members items don't count against your bank space in F2P. That's probably the best and cleanest solution. With how much work they have done to the code and engine lately, it seems like it should be possible now.

I need this it was so annoying when I lost members for about a week I just lost some inventory for the whole time

I do like the idea of locking member items. I remember someone withdrawing strength pots instead of brews for a war once, so I am sure it happens the other way around too.

Anything to help make it more convenient when people are interacting with the f2p community doesn’t seem like a bad idea.

One time I pulled out a tbow on a f2p account, I put in the GE for 2.1b so I got to not worry about it. (This only works for 1 offs, and items worth less than max cash lol)

Yeah I accidentally pulled out my entire cash stack on my (now expired membership) alt and I put in offers for gilded armor sets at 50k gp each, max quantity

Any form of being able to avoid or undo removing stuff from bank above cap would be nice
