Idk about you but cooking karambwans/ hard food is low on the list of iron chores.
I don't think it's too bad rn/ or too much prep wise. Not sure if it's an issue currently or needing a "fix"

plus your argument is like saying once you get 99 fishing, you should be able to just buy any fish you want instead of needing to catch it, because you dont need any more xp

Just a slippery slope, should we also be able to hand in our steel bars and have them turned into cannonballs? Hand in our potion ingredients and turn them into finished potions?

It's not many steps from just asking for buyable cannonballs, prayer pots, sanfews, etc.
At that point, he might as well just play a main and clog + do the content he enjoys because self-sufficiency isn't it. And that's really freaking common with the modern iron player despite opting into a fully self-sufficient game mode - It feels like people are signing the dotted line without actually understanding what they're signing up for and then flipping the board when they don't like it.
It's frankly already outrageous how little you have to do as an iron because you have the likes of Scar Essence, Kingdom of Miscellania, and existing Shopscape that is directly contradictory to how the game mode was supposed to be played :/
