Yes they are falling in price quite a bit, and that only makes sense when new gear is introduces that people prefer.
Either BGS will skyrocket in price being the only "good" item from bandos, or people will start farming bandos a lot less than they do now, and the price will settle somewhere, surely above 174k for a chestplate

They have just been decreasing in price at a fair rate, because torva is getting more and more affordable, which is straight up better.

Which is weird because armor is straight up not a good set, and its only use is to get defence on masori, thats just because masori is entering the game at such a rapid rate, that arma is having trouble entering the game at the same pace.
Whereas Torva is entering the game at a lot slower pace than bandos.
Also historicly bandos has been botted and gold farmed to a much higher degree than arma

i dont even see an issue in the first place. no matter how hard jagex will try, sometimes older content becomes less desirable and prices drop
you cant design a game over 20 years and not have that happen
besides peoples emotional attachment to bandos there is no actual reason this is a problem

either you only ever design legs with less than 2 str, or at some point you end up rotating them out of being good

I think we need to have items be better than ancestral at some point, but we dont need all items to get better version in the same month, this month we got an item thats better than tassets
But the longer an item has been the best, the more its infront of the line to get a replacement
B ring got replaced with +4 str bonus, tasset got powercrept by 12 slash bonus

We also have bloodmoon tassets, which are as good as bandos, except there is no upkeep, and bandos has better defence
so most likely bandos will stay above that in price
also bandos still have better ranged defence than oathplate
so if you are getting ranged, while using crush/stab you still want to use bandos over oath
