How many of you have actually used the service to reclaim a pet for 1m GP?
Honestly I personally can't be bothered to pay 1m extra per death and that's not worth to carry around the followed with me.

So if you actually have got a pet BACK this way, let me know by reactions too please.

2️⃣ I haven't ever used the service

Would be awesome besides opinions ofc to hear who actually uses it.

What do you think would be a good 1time fee for permanent free reclaims as a gold sink?

Not everything in OSRS is made for us. A lot of mechanics are just disguised gold sinks put in the game to drain money, not improve gameplay. They wrap it in “content,” but really, it’s just there to keep the economy from collapsing. It’s probably pretty effective. It would be cool if jagex let us know how effective each sink was.

The pet death fee sink should just be gotten rid of entirely tbh and pets should be able to follow you more places

If you put it like this:
Remove a single zulrah bot from the hiscores front page (my example has 60k kc +-5% to not name/shame).
That single bot has generated 9.6b gp or 9600 pet reclaims.

So if they're interested in draining gold from the economy actively, that's a good place to start.

I can’t stand how gold-driven this game has become. This is just the one sink you noticed or felt obligated to speak on, but it’s everywhere. If Jagex knows you won’t use something often, they slap a high gold cost on it to add gameplay depth 😀 the few times you do. If they want you to use it, they just spread the sink out so you don’t notice. Either way, everything’s built around draining your bank, not building real gameplay. Just look beneath the surface, the entire core loop is built to bleed you dry. Why bring up this one to be honest?
