I have a few questions.
1, would everybody be working towards helping 1 person get 99 smithing?
2, Will there be 5 people in this group?
3, Will somebody's inability to consistently have membership affect their eligibility for this group?

I'm asking because in my experience with a group I've played with recently there seemed to be a real lack of unity towards a common goal. When it came to anybody playing melee, there was never anyone to craft any grades of armor like rune stuff for that. Or when it came to needing enchantments there was nobody to craft any. I basically had to do most of that myself. I got to about 50 smithing by myself when I basically decided screw this and just did my own thing like everyone else was doing. I got to 50 crafting and that was quite a task too.
I'm still in this group but I'm thinking of quitting so I can join a more unified and dedicated group. One that will preferably keep it's prestige and help out everyone else do the basic things we need as a group; and then alternate to the next thing... or alternatively have like, 2 different tasks that could be switched between. Like stockpiling the crafting materials for one person or the ore for the other person doing the smithing.

So basically I'd be down to join this group you're starting on those conditions. That there's 5 people, 1 person training for master crafting, and another training for master smithing. And no silly group names. I didn't say anything in my last group because I couldn't think of a good name but they were being kind of silly and good natured fun is alright, but a well ordered and disciplined group is the only reason to play Ironman in my opinion.

So let me know if I'm the kind of person you're looking for in your group. I'd be happy to be a part of that. I grind most of the time when I'm off work, and this is the only game I play.

Great questions!

  1. We will all specialize in at least 2 skills each so we can maximize efficiency. We will need at least 2 miners, for ores and essence. I grouped smithing and crafting together because of crystal armor. I also recommend we all work on slayer for extra supplies, that way we can acquire weapons and armor earlier on without needing to craft/smith everything.

2.Yes 5 person group, we have 3 so far including yourself!

  1. Having membership is definitely gonna be required. We're going to spend about a week completing all the f2p quests together starting March 1st and gearing up before getting membership. If that goes successful and we have a solid organized team, we will all membership up around March 10th.

Having 1 person pull the weight is definitely not the goal of this group. Our goal will be zero deaths, and prioritizing safety no matter what. We're not going to be spending time & money grinding hardcores just to throw it away so, we'll create a discord server to keep track of our progress & communicate with eachother.

As far as a name goes, ya'll are welcome to come up with a name, I'm gonna be focused on getting defensive gear for the team early on & I'll prioritize whichever skills nobody else wants to do.

Don't lose lives 🤣 id rather we practice content on our mains/stream to discord/lvl up hitpoints and defence and get tons of anglers/sara brews. Anything we can to prevent losing hardcore status, if someone is not confident going into something, it's better they don't do it or wait til they're ready.

As far as wilderness content goes, like mage arena 1 & 2, I'd rather we pay a clan to protect us. We're gonna play it safe no matter what

Before sending my application, I would want to ask about the time zone preference? Also would discord be used for messages or for voice talk? (I am kinda shy person and also not so confident in my spoken English)

Specialized Skills: Woodcutting/Fletching or Fishing/Cooking (whichever is needed more)

Side note: Have not done end game PvM earlier, but I'm willing to learn it before we get there. Have also been off for few years so some stuff might have changed during this time.

Just saying if you try to organise a group like this these are the type off groups that die out fast/1st I've seen it happen multiple times

Yea the mandatory membership seems weird you think it's going to stop people from quitting but it doesn't people quit due to life stuff weather they have membership or not lol

Hey, I'd love to join if you're still looking for one more. Have a maxed Iron (Lceviper) with experience in most PvM, and would love to relive that experience as a hardcore. I'd prefer Mage/ Range and Smith/Craft/Mine but can step in wherever needed, membership is no problem.

I'm EU based but usually play late evening, the only thing is that I wouldn't be able to start until March 4th after Runefest
