#Make Titan minions 0-tick delay when using the correct spell element on them

The majority of players just skip attacking the minions because there's enough of them, and it takes enough time that it's faster not to.

Other bosses like Scurrius have 0-tick delay when attacking the minions correctly, so it's not like it's a unique or special thing.

It would make duo-ing the bosses a good bit better, solo-ing the bosses significantly better, and would make the Twinflame staff much more relevant at the Titans themselves.

Edit- it sounds like it's a 0 or 1-tick delay after the attack lands, compared to Scurrius for instance, where it's on attack. Changing the delay to starting off attack rather than hit would be sufficient.

Additionally, some tips outside the cave suggesting chest/leg/weapon/back switch would be great to help those that don't go to Discord or other communities. An example setup on the announcement/blog for entry content would be really beneficial- showing an elemental battlestaff/base god cape/mystic top + bottom for mage switch, black D'hide/accumulator/crossbow for range, and wearing melee.

also would be nice if the magic accuracy required to guarantee a hit on the minions could be lowered (iirc right now you need 70 magic attack bonus for a 100% chance) so you dont need to have a full mage gear switch if you want to murder the minions effectively

There's a reduction of sorts, I seem to be able to 3t between the elementals sometimes but I do agree they should be 1tick if u don't splash. Also why/how can I splash with a 3 way mage switch on them? Very annoying. Now I bring torm brace for the 4 way and haven't noticed a splash. I hoped the staff could just never miss elementals on its own as long as ur not -64

To answer the two request above about reducing magic accuracy needed: A part of the point of the boss is to teach and reward gear-switching, I don't think it'd be appropriate to reduce gear switching needed when you can reach the 70 with a 3way or 4way depending on gear setup.

I'm not sure about whether or how offensive magic prayer may help that +70 cap to be lower say if you use mystic might or vigour/augury?

I do think it could be a bit lower than +70 bonus required, as that does call for a bigger switch, but I don't consider that as important as the 0-delay, and I don't know if it's a flat +70 or not.
Personally, I wasn't splashing with a -22 from a 0-way switch (3 way melee and range only), but I assume magic level has something to do with that.

I'm also curious about how the prayers affect the minimum needed

If it hurts that much, you can just camp mage gear

mage switch shouldnt need you to swap out 3 or 4 pieces of clothing for it though
it requires +70 for 100% accuracy, which for reference requires around the equivalent of full ahrims including the staff

it is intended to be a boss that teaches switching yes, but if you are at the point where you are learning switching to get +70 magic bonus your magic gear is likely going to be ahrims at best
my point is that it should be less than +70, more like +40 or something which would still require switching just not a whole full body switch if you want to hit the minions

ive tried the bosses using all 3 styles and its a nightmare how much you have to switch gear, prayers and manage your inventory to the point its not worth killing the minions at all

at least according to dps calculator

#

anyway 0 tick delay would make this irrelevant since you could just spam the minions, would just mean more runes used and would be a bit scuff

They are 1t, but however they coded it, the attack has to land for it to reset your attacks, unlike scurrious weapons that 1t on attack

If you wear hybrid gear this gets easier as well. Barrows gloves gives +6, a glory +10, so you can make it to +70 with just a 3 way switch to ahrims robe top, bottom, staff

#

mystic would be a hard time though

Mystic is a good point, but it looks like a 4-way makes it without any real issues.
Using Barrows Gloves + Glory/Fury + Neitz helm + Dragon Boots + any ring for all 3 styles, you can get +70 or more with Mystic top + bottom, Twinflame staff/Elemental Battlestaff, and either base god cape, unholy book, or Book of Darkness. Book of the Dead would unfortunately only put you at +68.
But ideally with this, you do 2/4-way switches (5 melee if you use 1h+ defender) Chest/legs/weapon/back (Eclipse let's you combine melee/range top & bottom).
Upcoming Antler Guard will also make this easy, especially in tandem with a crossbow

It's the ferocious gloves that hurt mage enough to require the gloves switch. With b gloves it might be a 3 way for me

I think rather than changing the +70, having some readable tips outside the cave to suggest chest/leg/weapon/back switch would be perfect

I'm nox hally+ bofa so wouldn't apply

Fair. Why Bowfa though? BP doesn't really miss during range phases

Low on scales and less req switches

#

Don't need cape or gloves

#

Less tick loss from attacking after yinyang

I tried bp and it felt pretty awful to me

I personally like camping Ava and swapping between Atlatl and my Noxious Halberd

#

Using Eclipse set (Minus the helm. Where I use a face guard instead)

#

And oh. Here's a setup I ass pulled together as the 3-way mage switch using relatively easy to obtain gear and very mid-level ironman friendly.

(Only robe top/bottom and staff)
