As far as I know, you can hide certain items with the ground item pop out.

Ground item editor mode is a hotkey that can be toggled on and off
You can add items to an ignore list using the [-]
Or add them to a "important items" list with the [+]
And separately from that is the tiered system if text display
All of which you can adjust color of displayed text
You won't be able to hide the item from the loot pile interactions so if there's 20 bones over a fossil or something you may have to scroll to find the fossil or whatever still but you can definitely hide junk loot text from displaying outside of the minimenus (so like, text on ground)
