The Rellekka hunter area is a starter zone for hunting and has a variety of training methods. However, the nearest source of hunter supplies is far to the south in Yanille. I think the hunting expert giving players a starting hunter kit would be a nice quality of life and introduction to the skill. The hunter kit is normally only created through lunar magic, but the area is very close to Lunar Isle so it could make some sense for the hunting expert to have access to them.

Lore-wise, most Fremennik are super anti-magic, which is why the Lunar folks split off in the first place. So he probably wouldn’t have hunter kits due to the spell.
But yeah mechanically it does make sense for him to have some hunters kits lying around, it’d be nice for people discovering the skill to be able to talk to him and instantly start hunting.
Kandarin loses again 😂
To be honest, I'd extend the idea to the Hunting expert in Feldip Hills.
Normally the gathering tutors give players basic tools to get them started. It would make sense for the Hunting expert, who is a Hunter tutor, to give a Hunter kit to the player (or at least Bird snares for Crimson swifts).
I had also thought of suggesting just the starting item for the polar hunting expert, but having him just pass out nooses sounded a bit off

I don't really see why not to be honest. Fishing spots usually have a free rod or net. Souls Isle has a snare laying around close to the snaring location. Many mines have a free bronze pickaxe.
One of my least favorite parts of RuneScape is back tracking to a bank because I forgot some miscellaneous item.

We might get a change to this next year.

Another W for the suggestion forum
Can a mod or @sinful token add the "implemented" tag?
Yooo nice, didn't see that. Don't know of any tag like that unless you mean just adding something like [Implemented] to the title
Ah, there was such a tag for a hot minute. Looking now & I also don't see it
One time claim is rough, no?
It's kinda fine. It makes it less useful for just "I forgot my stuff but still want to pop in and do some hunting" but still good for newbs & area locked folks who should be putting that in their bank when getting it for the first time
