After the emberlight/ purging staff ancient shards have a very poor use case, I currently have 103 and using them on teleports seems trash.

What now?

I'm of the opinion that not using them for the other two demonbane weapons was a missed opportunity

Jagex is likely to give them more utility at some point. I’d just hang on to them for now

5 shards for a totem piece or chiselable into something useful like bolt tips were ideas seen previously

My vote is to be able to turn certain quantities into totem pieces

I like this idea! 10 shards for a full totem or offer 10 shards for access to the lair/boss
