This would be nice, but I think there won't be a more convenient way than shift dropping implemented in the game

Yeah I understand what QoL it brings. Back in the old days any item you gathered would get dropped right away if you had a full inventory. People have been asking for shift dropping for a long time and it is finally in the game. That's why I don't see Jagex improving drop methods even further

Not specifically shift dropping, but anything faster than having to right click each item

Inventory management/dropping items is one of the only things that makes methods like 3t4g and 1.5t teaks difficult and is an actual mechanic wherein your ability to effectively manage the resource directly contributes to your efficiency. Even if you're just dropping an inv of fish at barb fishing a tick faster, that's still you getting rewarded for more skillful/quick execution and is a valid game mechanic.

The game is easier and more afk than it’s ever been. If you want it to drop stuff for you, why don’t we just turn it into a full mobile rpg and implement auto harvesting/questing/bossing too? Then we can just play in our sleep

if u want to empty ur inventory in one click just walk to the bank and click "deposit all"

yeah even at barb fishing you can try dropping on the right ticks so you dont miss any fish rolls
