2-Handed Crossbows

Heavy crossbows that use javelins like the light and heavy ballistae, but accessible at a much earlier point than the ballista. Making use of the javelins that aren't used at all, like the rune and addy javs. Made the same way as regular crossbows, maybe with a special string crafted in the same way as the other strings, but with a different material, and the limbs can be made the same way as well. Just saying it would be nice.

How about directly buff ballista, as they haven't been touched in years and they desperately need one.

-reduce the attack speed by 1
This is balanced by the fact that crossbows have enchanted bolts, but ballista are raw DPS. Even in pking, they're only used for the special attack
-Make Ava's return javelin heads
This is the largest limitation to using these weapons, as the cost is prohibitively high

Ballista use 5% special for each attack, and gain a high accuracy and low strength boost. They can be fired without special attack, but operate as they are now

As much as I love this idea, it doesn't touch the problem with lesser javelins existing for no reason in the first place, and it still makes crossbows the only accessible heavy weapons until mid-late game. My thought is to make their attack speed between the regular crossbow and the ballista, and since you'd be using less powerful javelins, the damage wouldn't be an issue

avas does recover javelin heads now, but it's still about the same dps as a rcb with diamond bolts
