This is true, whilst switching in cw you would have to click the option to autocast again when switching back to mage.

As an active players in Castle Wars community my self, Castle wars does need some updates in order to keep the old historical iconic minigame alive.

But generally speaking, fixing what the player "Snipe", also know as "Daz" or "Duno" will be huge update for the community. One simple way is Disabling the ability to use Zamorak and Saradomin portals in Theme worlds only in order to fix stacking. There are many great ideas if Jagex is willing to give it attention, most knowledgable and active players in Castle Wars community are active in the Castle Wars Community discord.
Admins there are active and they are very knowledgable with loads of solutions and ideas, all we need is jagex to give us a moment of attention.

Snipe has been forcing player run games of chance for years at castle wars. purposely sabotaging a classic minigame with a clan, the same clan of a few others that griefed soul wars into balanced portal (dividing teams evenly) which he mentioned "destroyed the competitive feel of controlling which team will "win". Duno/Snipe uses alt accounts to space in his Cc members to one team creating a toxic gaming environment for players who just want to play CW collectively with balanced teams of actual participation. One suggestion could be to force guthix portal only with only 2-3 attempts to be randomized (if a player forgot an item like a zamorakian hasta or dds) before a portal spam cool down for the current game is implemented. Also banning the use of non approved third party clients that allow machine like player point & click mechanics that aren't possible to do simultaneously within the same tick like if you tind a cade a player cant extinguish & explode tick perfectly every time.

Cuz cw costs way more to play then almost any other minigame

If they wanted to make like new tickets or zeals or something you get in addition to tickets
And they give him a 2nd shop with real rewards

But yeah they'd have to do some relatively big update
And commit to giving the game a real reward shop

I think removing the portal system for Cw Theme Worlds specifically and having a Single Portal for everyone to sit in a Single Lobby together until timer runs out and a new system or mechanism would randomize the two teams (Sara and Zam) based on the amount of players in the single portal when the game starts.
- This would not apply to Private Cw worlds but only to Theme-Based Castle Wars.*
