Salad blade's value is essentially tied to bowfa, but it is worse in every way. And now with Fang being in the game, there is essentially no content where the salad blade shines.
Vard being 2x2 and scythe being less than optimal there should have been an opportunity to make this forgotten weapon useful.

There's absolutely zero reason to own a salad blade at this time, with existence of Scythe/Fang. This could have been a reason to own one.
(This is coming from someone who owns all 3 weapons)

it's dumb how a stab weapon is outperforming slash weapons too, on a slash weak boss. More of a problem with the fang overall

Agreed pretty surprising and disappointing that the stab accuracy weapon is best against the slash high defence boss. I'm pretty sure Saeldor would be a valid switch at some level of Vardorvis hp, like how Scythe is better than Fang at 40% and below hp, but I'm just speculating I don't know the actual numbers
