So i think pet should provide some buff, like give some supplies everyday or give some double loot when doing it ?
and duplicate pets should exchange for something like have chance for another else pet ?

Pets are meant to be purely cosmetic and not provide any tangible benefits. The benefit of having a pet is the prestige of having it. If different pets were to provide benefits in game such as the supplies you mentioned, that would promote some unhealthy grinds.
