i just used a knife to poke holes in the middle of em and then tied knots in string on either side of the bottle cap

some of em i tied the knots close to the bottle cap on each side so they wouldnt move, but some of em i tied the knots a little ways away from the cap so it could move around a bit. I also made them face the same direction so they'd catch the plastic undersides on the carpet a little bit so it'd drag and make it more exciting for him
