You'll pick up the mechanics pretty quick, Periilous moon bosses teach you a good amount of mechnics, esp blood moon

I did the tutorial a while ago and i couldn't remember that you could use multiple type of bars

hey, does anyone have advice for defeating xamphur, the "a kingdom divided" boss? i've watched the slayermusiq1 tutorial and read the standard advice - my combat is 72, and xamphur himself is fine, but the hands from above just keep hitting me. by the time my screen updates after starting walking away from them, i've lost 40hps. i'm not sure if the problem is a- bad technique, b- ancient old computer, c-just normal panicking and quitting too soon, d- stats too low, or e- something else entirely...

(stats are 60 ranged, 58 defence, 46 prayer, 59 hp. i'm ranging him, not trying to melee it.)

you can tell that the special attack is coming when xamphur says 'your death is at hand'
at that point don't worry at all about doing damage, and just keep continuously walking, until he's done

did you find walking straight lines or walking around the room was easier to get right?? everyone seems to have different preferences.

I find it easiest to just walk in a square,
walking back and forth can sometimes get you slapped by a hand thats already falling

Oh one thing about a melee fight caves is bats

Meleeing bats will mean atleast -1 prayer point from their attack, providing you 1 shot them everytime

The real challenge isn't jad, it's inventory/resource management so losing a lot of prayer points is gonna make it harder

Training slayer is 0 time for your combat skills so you get two with one. A lot you can AFK for as many minutes as protect from x would allow, esp in multi combat zones like Kourend Catacombs

Less AFK is that dwarf cannon for ranged xp at same time

i think it's just better to train to that skill if u dont have the requirements, ive been following that guide too and its usually 1-3 levels to train manually

Colossal wyrm advanced course is so good

Same amount of marks of grace per hour as canifis with over twice as good experience

Canifis benefits more with diary achievements.

But Wyrm is pretty good change of pace.

I don't understand why my ayak with confliction gauntlets (plus obvious stuff like occult, mage cape 2 etc) Did basically equal damage in raid vs a clan mate of mine who brought blue moon armor and was using a dragon cross bow, and black keris as only weapons..

It's liike shadow is the only noticable difference, and then second best in slot in the entire game is just dogwater

keeping your boosts topped up and never missing opportunities to attack can be much more relevant than gear

i'd recommend grabbing the Attack Timer Metronome plugin - it makes it obvious when your weapon is off cooldown and will help with missing ticks

the gear is an improvement, but like Captain said the 3t attack speed makes it harder to use

especially compared to a 5t weapon like rcb

gear only accounts for at most like 20% dmg bonus, if ur 4 ticking your ayak its just a worse trident

being tick perfect will give u a lot more dps than gear

but u might as well get gear
