Again this game has operated for 20 years with no customer support.
Incompetence on the different layers
and then they go actually talk to the anticheat guy and they're like oh yeah it was wrong here and they're unbanned in 15 mins
Yeah, 500k bots or something, but even a 0.02% false ban is taking out 100 actual players unfairly 
it makes it really obvious that real people dont check appeals
Because streamers have strong evidence to support their claims with video recordings
But most normal players don’t record everything
and the youtube video guys that just send them messages and no footage?
lol it sucks to say but they're not checking those appeals or they have actual bums doing it

one of them just made a video about the whole process actually
where he even makes more new accounts and gets banned again and tries to solve it as a regular player etc
laughs about it because he can just contact them when its over
If you ever worked a ticketing system then yea you have people who are in 3rd world counties who barely speak the language looking over your appeal.

if this guy can spend a few hours making a new account and get it banned 2/3 times
how often are actual new players just getting yeeted and never coming back
that's why it should be encouraged and reviewed if you actually have membs vs bonds 
I'd wager that majority of folks on membs (especially annual subscriptions) are playing legitimately, but bonds/f2p are more suspect because easier to rwt/access
If they focused like that, bot makers would easily find out and could switch to membership instead
Buying membership is barely more expensive than RWT bonds in several countries, for example in Brazil a 1 month members is about $6 USD, and that also avoids them trading on black market gold to their new accts and raising red flags
So I do think its best all accounts are under the same scrutiny
They don't have to announce it per se, but reviews should absolutely be more strict on the cheaper membership options because they're higher risk.
It's like saying F2P shouldn't be more scrutinized despite birthing a lot of accounts that train, survive the purge, and then get bonded after 70+ combats to be used in P2P 
I'm just not a huge fan of "oh you're playing via bonds? Now you have higher chance of false ban" most end gamers play via bonds so it would kinda suck. Ultimately every account can just be reviewed thru the same mechanism I don't think they have a bottleneck for the AI that's checking everyones gameplay
Maybe that could come into play if there's some stage of manual review for macro bans but im doubtful that ever happens until the appeal stage
Even when it comes to bonds, there's a inherent and stronger risk of botting at 1 bond used versus 20 bonds used 
Cuz hearing dudes that got banned after 20k hours put in is depressing
I use 1 bond at a time as an end gamer 
but the artio bot with 20k kc running 24/7 ain't
I feel like leaderboard anomolies like this are either hand written scripts that are near undetectable or it's just some1 gold farming who hasn't broken any rules

It just highlights what islands are probably supposed to be and the contrast with our filler islands with nothing on them in game is kind of insane
what gets me is the conch being so massive and theres kind of fuck all to do there
theres even a whole section you just arent allowed in

actually this is were jagex excels and is the reason their game is so good and successful.
most devs ignore players and force their ideas into the game and tell you this is how it is.
Jagex actually reaches out to the entire player base across the world to brainstorm idea's and then consolidates the best ones to be voted on.
its why they pitch an idea an then players instantly improve it.
if more games did this, they would be way better, just to name one WOW would be much better if the devs cared about player feedback an ideas.
The problem taht Turkey is pointing out is that many of the ideas is just ezscape trash 
We have so much open space on existing islands that have zero purpose because they're annoying to get to, or just so inconsequential that people don't visit after doing 1-2 tasks nearby
That part will almost definitely follow with Red Reef quest though surely
The schematics were one of the laziest decisions in a while for making islands “relevant”

They should just remove all Sailing requirements from Mooring at pre-existing areas. Save Sailing levels for unlocking actual new areas. Instead of ones that already had access previously. That feels like it was nothing more than filler content to pad the level up table.

I think the intent was probably closer to like… Hunter rumors w/ Teleport to Boat, in an era before they decided it would need a Bottled Storm
Remember the initial proposal for Ancient Forge was that you would teleport to your boat, not use a Fairy Ring
Then likely they realized that just meant the Ancient Forge wouldn’t be used at all because anyone affording a Bottled Storm isn’t making cballs
The teleport to boat thing makes sense. But that's so deep into the Sailing progression ladder
But yes I do think there’s likely a high amount of catering and specific design for restricted accounts
The only good Hunter spots for Rumors are Chinchompa Island and Charred Isle
The 75-Sailing facility, that takes 78 to access the creatures, that will take you to 90s just trying to go on rate for one using a cannon

Vatrachos: Duplicate of Elkhorn chest on Dognose

ya like the biggest thing that it really highlights is that the islands we do have
are almost completely useless
where every suggestion is trying to actually address the thing that should matter most when jagex is making an island
and that is "why are we even going to this island?"
and if you cant answer that for like almost every island in the game theres a fucking problem lmao
if i were guessing jagex would probably just answer that and say "we need space to put ideas when we have them" more or less basically saying they're a canvas to do things with later
but i think its a more fundamental problem than that
because the point of sailing is to go places and if theres nowhere worth going theres no reason to sail other than number go up
or in my case to have my max cape back
and now that the launch craze is dying down and people are back to mostly doing their normal thing its getting more obvious that there isn't really much reason to have the skill atm

i think jagex pretty consistently underestimates their higher level players for some reason

theres kind of no real space to make them meaningfully different
it would be a much better choice
so the buckler needs a big buff to raise the ceiling
and let them spread out the other range offhands
i would say its actually got bad stats once you actually consider crossbows as a whole
