TLDR, after the update in December 2020 allowing lower combat lvl players to use the cape perk to get assignments from any slayer master, you could use a higher level master and still have the option to toggle whether or not that master would ignore the players cmbt lvl when assigning tasks to you. This allowed lower lvl cmbt players to toggle to
- choose to hunt any tasks they could get assigned from any slayer master
or - choose to only get assigned tasks that they had the cmbt lvl to do from any slayer master.
Sometime about 3 years after that update in December 2020 this changed and now when using the slayer cape perks the cape will no longer function the way stated above, like it had for 3 years. It defaults to ignoring cmbt lvls when choosing a slayer monster to assign you. We don't know what is the intended way the cape is supposed to function as it was one way and is different as of very recently with no mention of a change in any official newspost or blog.

I noticed one of the new tracks (The Rising Sun) has an unlock hint stating it is unlocked during The Heart of Darkness quest, which wasn't released today. Did the track get added to an old quest, or was it meant to say it is unlocked during The Final Dawn? If a track is added to a quest months later, how do we unlock it if we've already completed the quest?
