Air/Prayer mage build is the best DPS build from what I've seen. There are some niche builds like the fang of the hound - but it does require a decent bit of gear to get going. Air/prayer just needs decent prayer bonus and the shadowflame to get going

you can complete colo in full without knowing anything about it. that said, it helps to know a little bit, but even if not, just read the modifier tooltips, pop magic (assuming you have crystal armour), and just pay attention to what's going on

basically if you learn "on the job" you'll be fine. water thorns is very forgiving

flask is a full stat restore for HP, Prayer, and Spec, removes debuffs like poison, venon, and desease as well as doing a massive explosion based on your prayer level. the damage of the flask can be increased with the thorns tree.

main issue blindbag has that is good with specific weapons that meet certain requirements. In main hand i mean

for blindbag procs you want fast weapon, for thorns option you want 1 handed weapons and for long range minimum hit you want halberd

respawn time is pretty long and more people drastically lowers chance to get drop since only 1 person per zalcano kill can get tool seed (for pet or zalcano shard mass is better~~ but no task for shard~~)
