Moons armor is pretty good - but if your combat stats are low, obby armor could be good before the grind. If you took kandarin, your echo items will be mage support so it might not be a bad idea to respec into a mage build and later back to melee. Otherwise you may want to grind some amox/moons once your combat is high enough

I did Goraks for a while to get a Dragon Spear because I'm Sad No Larcenist Gang and my best Thieving method was to trap the Knight of Ardougne in the house NE of the market..
