For example if Sol is the big square, you can step on 1 and then on 2 all the time. This is not a way to cheese it but rather you'll be tanking some hits

well for range, crystal bonus only applies to crystal bow, bowfa, so it won't be giving you chins a bonus over the base stats the armour has. and blessing only expands that to melee and magic powered staves. so it would only be giving you a prayer bonus with chins.
