Manticore mayhem is almost better for thorns because the manticore die faster. If you have bees, just make sure you aren’t standing in their swarm.

Once you get to Sol, you let your thorns do most of the work, and you can use a 1t staff with your tankiest armor. Bring a full inventory of food to combo eat.
