if u want the actual math, dual macs is max hitting a 57 for me, while nox hally at 2 tile is only a 73

That means with factoring ranged echo procs on a single swing, nox hally is max hitting a ~89 on average, while dual macs are a ~82, but are 1 tick faster

so in theory the dual macs should be better or at least more consistent at close range

and when you get to further ranges, the double hitting weapons benefit more from the flat range bonuses that necessitate the nally in the main hand

so they are still better in blindbag there too

also that napkin math doesn't account for things like the min hit boost at close ranges favoring dual macs, nor does it account for the accuracy of the melee weapons and how backloaded the macs are on ranged echo damage (that can't miss) meaning it would favor them as well

there is also evidence (and i have experienced this as well) that ranged echos can actually proc and "store themselves" on missed melee swings, releasing when the next actual successful hit comes

meaning you effectively never lose range echos

all that said this shit is all too complicated for me to want to math out myself and nobody has made an accurate simulation of it, so while it seems really clear to me that dual macs are the best blindbag weapon (as well as the best main hand at close range), it's a lot less clear to me whether or not the blood moon set is better than crystal

cause you'd need to somehow account for the potential dps loss of the increased attack speed reducing your blindbag proc limit

I'm working on the inferno rn and I was wondering a few things

1. what is the point of the red tiles here? I know we want to move from blue to blue tile, but people have also attacked from the red tiles as well

2. when Jad spawns during the final fight, do I have enough range to fight the healers if they show up from the back or do I need to use the long range fighting style?

which can be good or bad

if you attack from red tile you will move to either side of red tiles depending which is closer before you attack. bad timing means you will walk backwards while shield is going forwards

usually you can only reach 2 healers from edge and have to wait for shield to move to the other side/middle to hit the other 2

you shouldn't ever need to move away from the line of tiles by the shield afaik if that is what you are asking

just need to be closer to the middle of the line

jad and mage/ranger spawn relatively pretty close to the edge of the arena there
