I've been using the 1 tick staff build. Have any of you noticed that sometimes your character just stops? Like attacking? Mid fight, periodically? Not clicking anything. Not doing anything else. Have to reengage the enemy. its been happening to me ever since I swapped to this build.

Come to think of it, I suppose I did swap to the build to fight demonic gorillas and cg. Though I have 100% prayer pen with the build too. So its odd that it still stops your attacking even though you could still damage through it. Thanks for answering, Been super curious why it was doing that

You can pray range or mage the entire time and just run around for the mechanics but I don’t know if there is an entirely afk method

I think people said once they got the thermy weapon and water thorns they could ignore but I never tried

if you have minion, you may want to disable it for gorillas. since it'll always hit them off-pray it causes them to swap multiple times during the fight

Your person stops attacking if they switch to the overhead of your attack style iirc

I'm also using 1t staff w prayer pen, if the target I am about to fight has melee/ranged protection on, I just spam click until it swaps to mage, usually only takes a couple of seconds for them to swap.

I've only seen 2 abyssal tasks my whole grind and I'm about to hit 99 slayer. Have you used any of your blocks to stop some of the crap tasks from showing up?
