⚖️ Clan Guidelines

We encourage clans to create welcoming spaces that reflect their values and communities. While clans can cater to specific groups based on in-game or real-life characteristics, all advertisements should promote inclusivity and mutual respect.

We ask that you frame clan descriptions positively, such as "a safe space for women" or "focused on LGBTQ+ players", rather than excluding others with negative language like "no X allowed."

We will not tolerate any form of advertisement that promotes hate or encourages hostility towards any group, whether based on real-life identity or in-game preference. Any clan or post that aims to cause harm, exclusion, or division through negativity or derogatory language will be subject to moderation.

We don't monitor or moderate application decisions for any clans posted within the discord, nor any clan decisions to remove members. Unfortunately, if they don't want you to join, that is their decision to make. While this may be disappointing, we recommend taking another look at the options for one more suitable.

Discord invitations

We understand that sharing Discord invite links is vital for clans to grow their numbers and to make the recruitment process smoother. To encourage this, we have created a new role: “Invites”! This role allows clans to post their Discord server invite links in their clan advertisement forum.

Anyone can apply this role to themselves, but remember that Discord links are only allowed within the clan channel mentioned, and are unable to be posted elsewhere in the server.

By giving yourself the Invites role, you are agreeing to the rules set out below.

• Clans are allowed to share their clan discord invite links in your clan advertisement forum.
• Users can assign themselves this role. We believe all Clans, whether they are new to the Discord or not, should have the ability to share their community, however we reserve the right to change this policy if necessary.
• Discord links that are shared in the server must follow Jagex rules and must not break the game’s ToS.
• If we receive reports of a linked Discord server our Discord Moderators have the right to investigate and revoke the ability to share Discord links for the entire clan.
• Linked Discords that include extreme or excessive NSFW, explicit or harmful content, that break Jagex or Discord ToS or are not directly OSRS-based will be removed and result in the ability being revoked for that clan.
• All servers should be OSRS Clan and community focused (IRL and unrelated channels are fine, but the main theme of the server should be OSRS).
