I'm the clan leader and I've gotten told sit lol. As long as people aren't belittling you with maliscious intent then I don't see anything wrong. Even the death notifications will sometimes end with sit at the end

Once you react, you will recieve an "invites" role which will allow you to post links within your recruitment thread. Keep in mind you still can't post links in #clan-advert-board though. Anyone who wants to post a link in your recruitment thread must have the invites role as well.

It's also good to give it a few minutes once you have the role before trying again, as the bot has to catch up sometimes.
