I feel Ike my take on the situation is this : I personally think the Killing Joker is Alan Moore at his most cynical and depraved... and that's why I like it, he really deconstructs those characters (Batman and Joker) in a way that truly compells me, and plus the Artwork is amazing and iconic. But... at that same time, Barbara was totally Paralyzed in a one off story that was a conduit for Alan Moore to explain why he hates that Batman became dark and edgy. I don't think Barbara being paralyzed in that story is a good decision for the canon, but I also think they did a great job at keeping her character around afterwards and making her still feel like an important piece of the world. I'm not necessarily upset that they brought back her ability to walk, but it's not something that made me go "I'm so glad this happened".

Rearranged the league

They were still the shelf I had yet to reassemble after the disaster

This line of figures is old (not counting Dr. Fate, who's his own thing) but I still really like them tbh. The headsculpts and details are done by some of the best artists in the business, and while yes, the body reuse is pretty huge, I think it actually adds a nice uniform feel.

The legs suck in terms of movement, and that's the biggest bummer and what leads to them being outdated. If I wasn't as deep as I was into the line, I would've switched to the current line. I'd mix and match figures, but good ol Todd Mcfarlane (who got the license after Mattel lost it a few years ago) had to do his thing and make the new line 7 inch scale, while these Mattel figures are 6 inch scale.

The X-Men to me have always been bridge builders between humans and mutants so seeing them kind of shut themselves off from the rest of the world is kinda disheartening.

Damian I have a complicated relationship with, not my favorite Robin definitely, but he's grown past what I didn't like about him

I personally think giving Batman a son raised by the league of assassins is very very lazy

But, again, he's past being Batman's edgy murder son, so it's fine

Jason... I don't like all that much, he didn't spend much time as Robin so it's not really his fault that he doesn't have much of an impact there. Red Hood... is a decent enough idea that simply just does not appeal to me.

He's a decent Robin though, I like a lot of stuff that features him in the role, he's just not a major standout like Dick or Tim

It used to be Batons, but they turned the Batons into a grapple thing in the... 90's? I think

He's been seen seen using his club as a grapple hook dating back to 1967... but, his clubs were still 2 separate weapons, one of them could just split apart with a rope so he could use it to swing. Then in 1998, they basically said "he has crazy Nunchucks now", and they were shown as being 2 Batons connected by a super long rope, until 2011, when they redesigned it to where he has one Baton that can split apart with a rope and become 2 batons.

I feel like one Baton that can split apart is probably the best way to do it, you get a bunch of options that way

At first glance, what's the problem? It's the Toys and they look right

BUT THEYRE WRONG

We'll start with Buzz, I'm using Belt Buzz cause it's the best image of him in "Toy Mode" that I can find, and he looks the exact same as the regular buzz.

Okay... so, first off, the head sculpt. They absolutely refuse to give use a Buzz with this facial expression, they just won't do it, he's always Smiling like my Buzz. The smile is actually accurate to Toy Story 3 and 4, so maybe I'd let them pass for my normal Buzz.... but Belt Buzz is from Toy Story 2, he should have the Facial expression from the second movie.

Second... his wrists. Movie Buzz has ball pegged wrists, my Buzz just has fucking swivel wrists, he cannot do the exact pose from the photo.

3rd. Movie Buzz can put his arms down by his side, just look at any movie clip for proof. My Buzz has the shoulder pads molded into the body as a solid piece, so his arms cannot fully come down by his sides. I currently have them as far down as they'll go on my normal buzz, his elbows are just bent.

4. The green. In every Toy Story Movie, the Green is lighter than what's on either of my Buzzes. It's closer on normal buzz than on my Belt buzz, but it's still just not quite pale enough of a green.

Now onto Jessie

1. Her shirt. Movie Jessie's shirt is the same texture as Woody, it's just a flat cotton type material. On the toy, they made it this shiny material for some reason, it looks very nice and I like it, but it's not accurate to the movie.

2. Her hair. If you zoom in, you'll see Movie Jessie's hair is a very thick yarn, The toy used string instead, and while it gets the job done, it's not quite as full, and it doesn't sit in place as well as it would with yarn.

3. Her proportions. Movie Jessie's waste is a little slimmer, and her torso is a little longer. Very small difference, but it's there.

4. Her Facial expression. While it's certainly closer than Buzz, it's still not accurate. Her lips are fully sculpted and painted in the movie, and on the toy they only did her bottom lip. Her eyebrows are bit higher up in the movie, and overall her smile is a lot more sharp, while on the toy it's much more soft.

The Woodster

1. Again, the fucking face. Woody looks the same in all 4 movies, but they just won't give us the closed smile on the toy.

2. The vest. The cow pattern on his vest is not accurate to the movie, as you can see, in the movie it stretches to the top of his shoulders, it doesn't do that on the Toy. In the movie, the liner on the vest has individual stitching, it is just a pattern on the toy.

3. The Hands. Movie woody has spread apart open hands, ya can't see it in my photo, but Toy Woody's fingers are closer together and they're somewhat cupped.

4. His badge and buckle. His buckle is a flat dry yellow in the movie, they made it gold on the toy. The Badge is just wrong on the toy, it's a bit of the wrong shape, it's too thick, it's the wrong color, and there's a rough texturing on the movie badge that isn't on the toy.

Where do I start

1. The fucking eyes. They won't give us a Potato Head with separate eyes, they just won't do it, no matter how much we beg.

2. The feet, same fucking deal, they won't do it... closest we came was my figure, and he has fucking legs because he has a motorized gimmick where he pivots back and forth.

3. The arms. The Movie Potato has bendy arms, we haven't had a Mr. Potato toy with bendy arms since before the movie happened.

I will say though.... if he had normal feet and correct eyes, and he'd be perfect

They did a Disney Store exclusive Hamm for TS3, he was made of Resin... and big shocker.... Kids couldn't stop breaking their Hamms, so he was forever discontinued

I wanna say this is the only official Hamm bank we've gotten since then, and he's sorta just his own thing, not really connected to a line

Nah, they're mostly just Black Series figures, Vader is the most "collectible" figure here, but he's actually broken in some places, and he's in this display because I actually replaced him. The most valuable thing here is the Vader poster, which is actually an original poster from 1977 via a collaboration with Coca Cola. My Mom's friend at the Senior Center is married to the dude who painted these posters, and they had an original set sitting around, and she noticed my Mom often wearing Star Wars shirts, so she gave them to her. Poster would probably go for like $150 the way it is, nothing insane or anything.

All together, idk, I could maybe get $3-$500 on my Black Series if I really tried hard to sell them all

Wouldn't be too easy though, super popular toyline and I don't have many rare figures
