#Basic additions to diplomacy

I believe that the game would benefit from a couple additions to diplomacy. More specifically, the ability to create vassals out of conquered nations and the ability to diplomatically create vassals.

Such changes would add another level to both map making and expansion. With vassals could map makers more accurately simulate regions like Ancient Greece (e.g. the Athenian Empire) and give players an alternative method for the creation of allies.

Doesn't this already exist? Submission is vassalage, right? And a player can accept vassalage, or die, no?

Now, I'd be interested in more nuanced vassalage, management. For instance, I'd like to be able to force a vassal to choose between breaking vassalage or ending a war/joining a war/sending less or more money, the like.

My apologies. I just reread, and see you're talking about make making. I agree. That would be real nice.

As a [description of user]
I want [functionality]
so that [benefit]

Something like.
1.
As a modder
I want to set up predefined protectorates on maps
So that the map is more coherent with history

Whoever I think that's already possible. In fact Ancient Rome has a predefined war between Carthage and Rome even though it isn't so easy to implement

I believe that's already a thing
