Hello everyone, I want to propose an idea for Sansar to create three-dimensional images. Development of a shader that will allow you to create something similar to real stereo vario pictures. Personally, I have not yet encountered such things in virtual worlds. So I need your support for this idea so that we can all be able to create something in this style.
#Stereo vario image, lenticular printing idea

Maybe someday Sansar will be able to afford a similar shader. In this case, it will not be necessary to use many textures to achieve such an effect. (facebook 3D pictures technology).
First image is indeed a lenticular (multi-point), while the second one is parallax occlusion shader. Second one can and will definitely be done at some point 😉
I personally have not encountered such things in other virtual worlds. However, if their creation is at all possible, then it would be quite interesting.
This is essentially a hologram, just needs the right shader, this is useful for stuff with "boxed" mesh to avoid rendering the box contents https://threejs-gltf-mosquito.glitch.me/
Useful for rendering apartment interior in building windows without any geometry for the interior, for example
It looks quite interesting. Such a thing can be useful for creators and even for showing some specific products.
also this feature can be useful for cyberpunk style projects that require the use of holograms.
Is there a way do get the angle of the user in a world to a object? I thing that a billboard also uses this to rotate the plane of the billboard perpendicular to the user.
If you could figure the watching angle to a plane than you can use a flip book style shader to show the correct picture in Stereographic
Thinking of this, It could be the an altered billboard shader with a view tweaks and Stereographic option added to is!
I still think this feature is a great idea, even giving us a way to place photorealistic (fake) 3D models without the costs of the draws and performance this would normally take.
