Happy Pride Everyone! Welcome to the Pride Hall! Here we want to acknowledge the many orientations associated with being within the LGBTQIA+ community! All definitions are taken from https://lgbtqia.fandom.com/wiki/LGBTQIA%2B_Wiki unless stated otherwise!

We also want to acknowledge those who define themselves with the labels of the community! React with prideslime under the flag(s) that you associate yourself with!

#

First I'd like to acknowledge some of the rainbow flags we've used throughout history:

#

(1978)

#

(1979)

#

(2017)

#

(2019)

#

and now for the orientations themselves!

#

"Lesbian, a term with multiple definitions, is most often defined as a woman who is attracted to other women romantically, sexually, or both."

#

The wiki doesn't actually have this one, but I wanted to include it anyways, it's the proposed flag for gay men!

#

"Bisexual is a label that describes an attraction to two or more genders on the gender spectrum."

#

"Transgender, often shortened to trans, is an umbrella term that describes an individual whose gender identity differs from their assigned gender at birth."

#

"Queer is an identifier for individuals and/or the community of people who are not cisgender heterosexual."

#

"Intersex is an umbrella term for various people who are born with or develop sex characteristics that differ from the binary notions of a "male" or "female" body. "

#

"Asexual refers to people who do not experience sexual attraction toward others."

#

"Aromantic, often shortened to aro, describes people who do not experience romantic attraction."

#

"Non-binary, sometimes written as nonbinary, is a term referring to individuals whose gender identity does not exclusively fall into the binary gender classification of only "man" or "woman.""

#

"Pansexuality is the sexual attraction toward people regardless of their sex or gender identity."

#

"Demisexual is a term used to describe those who do not experience sexual attraction to others unless they form a strong emotional bond with someone first."

#

"Agender, also known as genderless, is the absence of a feeling of gender."

#

"Polysexuality is the sexual attraction to various, but not necessarily all, genders."

#

"Genderfluid or simply fluid, refers to someone whose gender identity changes over time."

#

"Demigender is an umbrella term for non-binary gender identities that feel a partial, but not full, connection to a particular gender."

#

"Genderqueer is a gender identity that is other than male or female, a combination of the two binary genders, is on a continuum between those two genders, or queers gender in some way."

#

"Abrosexual people experience their sexual orientation as fluid and/or changing over time. "

#

I tried my best to include hopefully everyone! Try to keep discourse & discussion to a minimum here. If you have any questions about any of these flags/orientations, refer to the wiki! (As previously mentioned the gay men flag isn't on the wiki tho, sorry!)

Iโ€™ll just post this here since this is a good informational resource for trans people:
