The players are all average humans in the very normal town of Cityville, named after its founder, Founder Mccityface, It was your average town.

Cars buzzed back and forth down paved roads, teenagers loitered down alleys, children played in the park, birds flew over head, and the weather was generally pleasant, until a dark hole appeared in the skies over the town, and out stepped 5 ADORABLE psychopaths. They called themselves Sauveurs extraterrestres, and behind them emerged monsters only seen in the pages of scifi and fantasy books. Aliens with grey heads began to terrorise the streets, Orcs with dark green skin and unrealistically big swords carved up cars, Elves leaped from rooftops firing a rain of arrows beneath them.

All hope seemed lost until the Sauveurs Extraterrestres were faced down by one of their own kind, a magical girl called Lucky-cat. The battle was long and hard but the villains were forced to retreat, and Lucky-cat dove through the portal after them.

It has been three years since that incident. The tale of Lucky-cat, the hero from fantasy land, has been memorialised every year on the anniversary of her battle. But just 2 weeks before the 4th annual celebration of the anniversary, the portal opened once more, and out crashed Lucky-cat, battered and bruised.

With her last ounce of power she split her wand into fragments and sent them to find whoever would best suit their strengths and weaknesses, she died with a warning... The Sauveurs extraterrestres were preparing for war once again, and they wanted her wand.

This campaign is set in an average real world adjacent town, magical concepts and races are not native to this world and were brought into the town 3 years ago.
Cityville is a suburban town in the middle of the outback of Australia.

Each DND class will be preflavored into a magical girl form, including the martial classes so if you want to be a magical girl barbarian throwing hands then go for it!!

This campaign has a very weird tone, in some spaces its a silly goofy time, and in other moments it takes itself much more seriously.

Players can choose to transform before battle, or they can choose to transform mid battle.

If a player chooses to transform mid battle, they can choose to transform as a bonus action for no extra benefits.

OR

The player can choose to spend a turn transforming to gain advantage on 2 die rolls of their choosing until they leave their magical girl form. While transforming they are unable to take actions,reactions or bonus actions until the start of their next turn when the transformation finishes.
