Description:
For what feels like both a moment and an eternity, you are enveloped by a shimmering violet aurora, stretching out in all directions to infinity, and in the next, you are spat out of an oval-shaped obsidian gateway onto the hot rocks. The sulfurous air sears your lungs, vast hexagonal pillars of basalt emerge out of a sea of magma.
All characters for this campaign will start at level 3, so you can have your subclass right off the bat. I am totally cool with more off the wall character concepts! As long as they're fair and balanced, you can be a sentient spider or a non OP beholderkin or elemental slime or whatever other wild character ideas you have, since presumably your character could be coming from a variety of foreign dimensions, anything goes (as long as it's balanced!).
