Welcome to the harsh and unyielding world of Vaeloria, a realm where magic has all but vanished from existence. For centuries, legends spoke of arcane power capable of reshaping reality, but that time has passed. Now, the world is dominated by martial prowess, discipline, and the power of Aura—a force within, drawn from one's spirit, that can enhance speed, strength, and even grant near-superhuman abilities.
The great nations of Vaeloria, each vying for supremacy, have forged elite Knight Academies—places where the most promising recruits are trained in the art of warfare, strategy, and the mastering of their aura. These Knights are the true weapons of war. The strongest can level armies alone, known as S-Class Knights. Such warriors are treated as living gods and the ultimate deterrents in times of conflict. Few, however, ever rise to this level. Many recruits are culled before they even finish their training. Some die, others give up.
Your party is comprised of new recruits to the infamous Iron Gauntlet Academy—a brutal training ground for those seeking to rise as Knights. The academy is notorious for breaking even the toughest of warriors, and it’s whispered that nearly half of all recruits die during the intense training. Each of you comes from different backgrounds, all with your own reasons for answering the call, but the path ahead is fraught with danger, both from your own peers and the trials that await.
