I recently played in a campaign where I was given free reign to write my backstory with no restrictions, and I ended up with a great character with some deep stuff and plenty to play with for the DM. So I decided to try it out in my own game, as it felt different from most of the games I've played or DMed. It felt closer to a classic DnD, like Critical Role.
This is a campaign where I'll let you write (almost) anything for your backstory, as long as you give me at least one location and plenty of NPCs (and hopefully a villain) to use later. This campaign will be your story. It'll be written around you and your fellow party members, rather than the other way around. The map, plots, stories, etc. will all start with your backstory.
Please be ready to write a decently sized backstory (don't worry, I'm not asking for like an essay, couple paragraphs will be good), though I'm willing to help if needed.
Combat Junkies and Murderhobos need not apply.

Ping or DM me if interested! I probably won't see it if you just say "I'm interested" here without notifying me.
