From what you described, it’s very likely. In my dreams, if something ends up unfinished, I dream a sequel as a desire to “solve” it.
For instance, if I dream of a character getting lost in a maze, I will have a “sequel” where they complete the maze because I become satisfied with the “problem” being “solved”
