I got 200 episodes into one piece after giving it 4 chances and I'm not gonna give it a 5th. i respect one piece and appreciate what it's done for anime and how iconic it is, but it's not for me. if you like one piece more power to you, but i'm never going to be a fan of it sadly

Only parts of one piece you should skip are flashback episodes and filler, if you skipping entire arcs you arent getting the story, One Pace fixes the pacing and brings it down to around 200 episodes i think (there are sooo many flashbacks and parts where they just unnecessarily linger on a characters face -.-)

Most of the time the filler makes no sense cause they heavily nerf the main characters and make them struggle against weak enemies for some reason

But the one piece movies are great standalone media that are mostly filler
