For the most part it definitely has good enough animation especially for an anime that was weekly for like 150+ episodes

the only major criticism I have of black clover is that the fights are lackluster. They dont really have any kind of special choreography like in some animes. Its just "who can pull more power out their ass". Every fight so far looks the same, the character on the good side looks like they are losing but then they use a power theyve recently achieved or they get a mid-fight power up.

I wish they leaned further into Asta's sword being a massive hunk of metal and showed how much weight that thing had in it.
