Yakuza's a series about leaving the Yakuza, and trying to do the right thing despite being a bad person in the past.
Some games also have it that you're a good person grouped in with a bad crowd, like Yakuza 0's opening with Kiryu.

The series name in Japan makes a lot more sense, being Ryu Ga Gotoku, or Like A Dragon.

Not that I know of, I believe the series director even stated at one point that it wasn't coming to Switch, thanks to it being a much more adult series.
It's pretty much just, a Playstation series, with a select few games coming out on PC, originally just being 0, Kiwami, Kiwami 2, and of all games, 6.

Also save yourself the trouble.
If you ever get into the series, do not play Kiwami.
It's fun for a bit, then it just becomes a tedious slog.

But if you ever do get into the series, go;

If you're into the series if you ever do play it, and want something more serious, with disturbing tones and the like, Judgement and Lost Judgement are spinoffs that deal with serial killers.

GTA is a sandbox game where you use anything to do anything, run over people in cars, shoot cars with rocket launchers, so on.
Yakuza is mostly story focused, with the gameplay primarily consisting of beating the shit out of people with your hands, and rarely a gun.

Also yes, you beat people, with a gun, not shoot them.
Kiryu hits them so damn hard, the gun itself breaks.

Elden ring is amazing.

It's like Dark Souls combat, game play, and story wise(mostly. The story in Elden Ring is the best out of the From Software games in my opinion.) But you don't play it like a Souls game. You are encouraged to explore and do your own thing, versus getting thru an area and running straight to the next to get to the next boss.
