So for the past 2 months-ish me and my family have been going around finding good pizza places. One of these places was about to close down for good (I'm pretty sure it closed the day after this happened) and I noticed a guy across the table from us had a Street Fighter shirt on. I wanted to compliment his shirt and at this place you get your own refills. So we end up getting our refills at the same time (Me and the guy) and I say "Hey nice shirt!" and he says "Thanks!" So we talk about street fighter, I talk about my RANK in street fighter, and we head back to my table. Now for some reason he starts addressing himself to my family... I am thoroughly confused until he says he's the HEAD ESPORTS COACH AT A REALLY NICE COLLEGE NEAR ME. I am baffled, dumbfounded, and/or bamboozled by said information, but things get even crazier because he OFFERS ME A $20K SCHOLARSHIP. My whole family after this whole thing transpired was silent for like 2min trying to understand what just happened to us. In short, street fighter is paying for my college.

Nah, not really. They stole some stuff from Nintendo/Pokemon and as a company they won't just stay there and let it happen. Other companies have done the same. The weird part is...if Palworld did came out with some designs themself that look good, why not keep it going instead of stealing from another company? And, well, there is evidance of them taking Pokemon models and changing them.

Same thing can relate Cod apparently alot of the games are unplayable on PC due to cheaters and other issues that make the games unsafe to play so instead of Activision fixing the games they decided to threaten lawsuits to the people who want to make the games playable

They don't go around shutting down "passion projects" they are just protecting their stuff. Palword stole designs and they need to do something about it. A lot of the fan made Pokemon game STEAL from the original games and try to make money out of it which is why Nintento jumps on them
There are also a few Pokemon fan-games still out there but they don't get shut down because people aren't trying to make money out of it.
Also, old Nintendo was worst! Those people would go after you for playing their games back then to the point people were scared to play anything Nintendo
