Ikr I just kept going and once I learned not to just trace stikbots I improved like so much

Biggest thing that helped me was honestly tracing the shapes of bodies and then copying those shapes

Which I still do a lot to get an understanding of things

I gather like 50 references usually and start out with a similar base a lot of the time but I’ve been trying to branch out

Teaser for a new alien race I'm making

What is it?

What does it do?

How many types are there?

Still coming up with a name. It is an alien species with multiple races. The one here is known as the Chi (pronounced Kai) race. There are other races such as Iota and Delta, but it is unknown exactly how many there are. Their "hair" is actually quills and their claws are attached to venom glands in their wrists.

The Sanagira are an extraterrestrial species that invaded Earth after seemingly being encased in a meteor that collided in 2054. They are genderless and reproduce by forming a chrysalis and then dividing into two or more juveniles, which then emerge from said chrysalis.

They have venomous claws that thin the blood of their prey and prevent clotting as well as a tail tipped with a beaked mouth that is capable of producing sound and even speech.

And the one preventing them from conquering Earth is a rather unexpected guardian
