What I feel like will make your character’s color “Stand out more.” or “More interesting.” is less of the color, but moreso the actual Value: How dark or light or character is, and I think most of his outer shell is too light. I have added the original and edited black and white image so you could see the difference.

I used a black and white filter to see what colors there are, and organized them from lightest to darkest.

Notice in the original colors in the black and white, there’s not as much of a difference between each color except for the darkest value.

I like having the eyes or the upper torso as the top priority, so when I was looking at Artemus Prime (Sick name by the way.), I made the eyes and his upper chest the priority. His lower body is slightly darker, while his upper body is lighter.

I also added more orange around the face and shoulder pads because that orange could help spread out that interesting color more (Interesting meaning saturation). Finally for the metal, I made it a dark gray blue, because blue tends to contrast more with orange, making that orange stand out more.

I do like the dark orange lines you added there and the changes you have made. The only thing I am curious about is the blue and purple on the chest. Did you want the central focus on the chest?

If so, there’s no problems with that at all. The blue and purple contrast with the orange and yellow, which are complementary colors to the rest of the body.

Yeah, it's pretty rough. It can also be tempting to zoom in when you make your canvas larger, but it's usually best not to unless you wanna fix somethin' small

the good thing about digital is you have a LOT more tools at your exposal, dont be afraid to browse the popular section of your software's brushes store

For a smoother image you do need more pixels per inch, aka high resolution, and so make sure your canvas is big enough for the details you want to make.

you just have to discover the tools that it provides for you, then digital art becomes versatile

Your brush size is pixel based; so when you get down to single digits, its approximately that many pixels you are using to make paint strokes or lines.
