Another thing is to not tackle big projects like the one I shared earlier today at first, do small projects that you can finish and build on. Have a big project in mind that you can work towards, but you need small goals to celebrate in between. This is how the picture I shared earlier started.

Knowing your subject helps too, I have many drawings of this paladin knight.

Here's a reference sheet of him from June of last year.

Just practice, really. That's all I can say. Study art, study your software, and practice.

I think the most Important one is to know where on the head the crown of the hair is, where most strands should be originating from to keep it logical as hair and not look unintentionally messy/hard to read!
