Honestly I recommend tracing as a first step. Obviously don’t claim it as your own, only do it for learning purposes. Also, try to focus ur drawing as one big picture and don’t get lost in the details. Especially with digital art, it’s very easy to focus on one small area then forget to look at the rest of the image; if you’re doing digital, flip your canvas often, it’ll help you spot errors
