As it stands now you can customize the colour of every article of clothing bar boots and gloves.
The stark green of the gloves clash a lot with red, blue, and bright white flight suits making them quite the eye sore.
There even is an open slot in the pilot customization menu for them. I personally don't see why this isn't already a feature in Vtol.

Actually, you can't recolour the pillow-collar thing around your pilot's neck and the helmet, too.

Besides that, yeah, being able to recolour the gloves, the thing around the neck and maybe even the boots, I'd like that, you get a thumbs up.

The current reason that the gloves arent coloured is that they (like the helmet) have their own unique 2D texture/diffusion that colours individually (and can have skins applied via retexturing the asset).
If this were to be implemented, id imagine baha would have to rework how the system for colouring the suit works (idk enough about that system to know if it would be easy to integrate the gloves)
id personally prefer if/when helmet liveries get added, that we can have the option for glove liveries as workshop items, since they are one of the most seen parts of your own outfit in-jet
