Let's say you're helping someone to learn the game, but they are overwhelmed by the cockpit, and struggle to find buttons in time.

My idea is the ability to be sort of a helping hand that can "spectate" in the cockpit, highlighting buttons, or even help evert disasters by taking control.

This differs from being a copilot in the t-55 because the way it is now requires the player to already know what to do at least theoretically.

This could also work in single player to a certain extent when the person learning is in the same room as you, and using the pc screen, the guide could at least mark buttons.

helmet gopro spectator cam would be really cool, even cooler if it displayed on an MFD from the instructor seat in the 55

#

or from spectator mode to select "pilot view" or something

The instructor already can take control from the pilot when necessary

For me personally, this could be very useful whenever people come over and the subject of vr flight sim comes up, and usually people would really like to fly, usually with 0 experience.

So it would be awesome if I could just set everything up, give them the headset and controllers, and then just start highlighting buttons and hud elements through the pc screen and kb/m

I suppose

My friend had more issues not killing himself by accidentally VIFFing than with the buttons

it was kinda funny seeing him plummeting into the ground at -2000 ft/min in the F45

If you wanna troll them even more, set up a stormy night while at it

An illustrated checklist for various procedures could even replace the current tutorials

Yeah some sort of way to highlight switches or use a helper hand to point at stuff from the rear of the t55 would INCREDIBLY useful, I've got two headsets and love showing friends vtol but its super hard to get someone into a combat situation when they only have 45 minutes in a plane and half the time is trying to tell them where buttons and icons are at

Middle left side of the green hud in front of your face and then they have no idea what theyre supposed to be looking at
