Just reread the post, this is just an auto throttle, no? I thought you meant just a button that trimmed the aircraft for proper AoA, but you still have keep the aircraft there. Just like a catapult trim button

As long as the plane isnt damaged it trims itself out all you have to do is hold back on the stick to keep it at the AoA you want

It already does trim itself out for flying level, you just have to hold the stick back at the AoA you want

One less thing to do and ball flying would be easier since you just move the throttle to control the up and down of the velocity vector

Also IIRC the nose stays at the attitude where you put it (within reason), so even if you accelerate/slow bown the nose keeps the same angle

AoA is controlled by speed, not just pitch 😭

the slower you are, the higher the AoA you'll need
