#MP3's subfolders are not detected by ingame MP3 player

not what i mean its not spotify at all it seems u cant read
you can reroute the music folder by a config file, and it works only with mp3s just sitting in the folder
meanwhile I have a ton of subfolders
to organize my ablums, artists
Well, as of right now, the in-cockpit MP3 player can't swap between playlists/albums/artists. That's why the only things it plays are exposed MP3s in the RadioMusic file. You have one playlist you can make, and you can't cycle between folders in the RadioMusic file.
One solution could be to copy some MP3 files over to RadioMusic before you launch the game to make a large but manageable playlist, instead of dumping all your MP3s into the music folder at once.
A good solution for people who can tolerate streaming services is to use the MediaPlayer mod, but that only works with a streaming service and it needs the modloader to run (which essentially means private games only)
Personally, I'd love it if Baha expanded the vanilla MP3's functionality to be able to do what you're suggesting. Also, making the MediaPlayer mod vanilla would be unbelievable
it would probably be the best update since electronic warfare
This would be why. This post sounds like a suggestion rather than a bug report
every mp3 player ive used, uses the mp3s subfolders as ways to tell which album, artist, the .mp3s are by and such
so why should i have to change it for the game
it should of just searcrhed for mp3s inside folders and if they arent in the folders it dont matter play em, if they are in folders, play em
