1.11 added a lot of mission editor stuff
which doesn't impact the average user but allows for way more interesting mission to be created (and MUCH more easily)
and baha is still continuing on mission editor stuff on the current PTB together with the replay system
so is progress fast? no
but there very much is progress being made

I don’t doubt it, but I mostly play multiplayer. Last I checked, mods of that style are hard to get a lobby going for.
I suggested this as a way to potentially have not just a forward swept wing design but potentially one with thrust vectoring.

Something no aircraft in vtol vr has. The closest thing in the game to having it imo is the F-45. And that’s more made to give it VTOL capabilities.

I said the thrust vectoring for the F-45 specifically was to give it vertical thrust not to actually make it hyper maneuverable.

If you ask me, the F/A-26 feels like it’s putting an F-15 and an F/A-18 together and giving it a cobra button in the form of the g-limiter switch.
The thing is, I can see the concept fighter idea for this post being less equipped in some regard to insentivise it playing a crucial role. Likely air superiority being its strongest suit for example.
And again I stated it would likely be something similar to the Su-47 in regards to having both thrust vectoring and that iconic forward swept wing design.
Despite how similar the idea seems to an already existing plane in the game, the dynamic it can bring would likely draw a good amount of attention. That and who doesn’t love a good dogfight between two hyper maneuverable fighters? That dance in the sky would look and feel spectacular imo.
