Ability to walk around

You can walk in the hanger. Press in on your left thumb stick and move it around to walk. Or you can teleport my squeezing the trigger, and pressing in on the thumb stick. A teleport line should emerge from your hand. Release the thumb stick to teleport to the location the pointer was located at the time of the release.

i am aware of this ability and is not what i mean when i say i want to be able to walk around, im intending it as a game mechanic not as a spectator view only kind of way

VTOL is the only VR game i play because it’s seating down, i don’t have room to be standing and moving around

#vtolvrdev message I used to want to be able to get in/out of the aircraft too but I haven't come up with an elegant way to transition. I don't want the player to sit down and stand up, nor do I want the character scooting around on a wheelchair, nor have a sitting player controlling a standing person. So I decided to leave it and just focus on what the games actually about.

i dont think it needs a transition, and running around seated is not as bad as you think, especially for a game that wouldnt have you running long distance or interacting with anything lower than chest or head height

You said you wanted walking to be more than just a spectator view but an interactive game mechanic. So will the player's virtual body and arms & legs be visible as they walk around?
When a player walks around in the game while playing seated, what do the character's virtual legs look like? Will other players see a character walking around hunched?

That's why in the current game the virtual body doesn't show up when the player can move around.

all im saying is i play ghost of tabor seated. My character is running around standing up. i can crouch down with a button, stand up. All with none of the wheelchair feeling your talking about
